Active Culture is a yogurt and health food cafe located in Laguna Beach, CA. The cafe resides in a Casa California-inspired bungalow that shares space with the "Festival of Arts - South", a small gallery featuring a rotating exhibit of work. The owners wanted their signage and way finding and menu systems to reflect the architecture of their shop and historic aspects of their community.

Updated branding, from revised logo to new menus design and signage, were created for this popular downtown Laguna Beach restaurant. The owners wanted a look that reflected the town's coastal vibe while bringing in an edge that reflected their modern American cuisine.

All environmental graphics for the upcoming Quail Hill Nature Center (Quail Hill Nature Preserve, Irvine, CA) were developed in 2013 in collaboration with Sola Creative. Interpretive exhibits and panels, signage for children and visitors, overview informational panels, and more are all included in this full-service project. The nature center is scheduled groundbreaking at an undecided future date.

Bass fishing enthusiasts will know what a plug is! The Allan Cole brand of plugs, known as "AC Plugs", wanted to rebrand for an updated presence in the sports fishing market. New logos, company style sheet, website, ad banners, and apparel graphics were developed for the product's 2009 relaunch.

Three distinctive, Craftsman inspired interpretive trail panels were designed for Mary's Trail, a small loop trail in the Laguna Canyon as part of the Nix Nature Center exhibits. Fabricated of steel and fired porcelain, these panels each explored the surrounding natural habitat by inviting the visitor to engage via 3 senses: sight (identifying landmarks), sound (explaining unique bird calls), and scent (creating "sniff" interaction to identify various local flora).

Signage and various interactive small exhibits at the Nix Nature Center including annual donor recognition banners, dedication plaque, typography and graphic layout for indoor interactive displays.

A premium boutique finance management company, The Sovereign Fund Management Group, wanted to present a new financial product to the royal family of Dubai in a custom-designed, hand-made book.

Limestone Canyon

Interpretive trail panels educating visitors regarding fire in the canyons, how it is both a hazard and a contributor to the cycles of the ecosystem. Actual photographs of panels on trail coming soon.

Bucky Gully at Little Corona Beach

Two interpretive panels were designed and installed at Buck Gully in Corona del Mar (city of Newport Beach) to educate visitors about the diversity of life in the small wetlands, as well as the functionality of the wetlands to naturally filter water run off so that cleaner water reaches the ocean.

Custom hangtags were created for a wedding table-top gift for guests. Olive oil and a spice blend called Zaatar (symbolizing the blending of the culture of the bride and groom) were imported and bottled for the wedding guests. The symbolism of these gifts, as well as recipes, were explained in these booklet hangtags.

Also included are custom wedding invitation package (including table numbers, thank you cards, etc) for a separate wedding event.

Back Bay Science Center

Newport Back Bay, CA

Employment at Bibles for America took place from May 2005-2007 as a graphic designer, then resumed from 2009-2012 with a promotion to Senior Graphic Designer. In that span of time, many marketing pieces both print and web were created to support and promote this well-branded non-profit organization, including a 2011 complete rebranding of the organizations identity.

The private financial group, Sovereign Fund Management, requested a complete overhaul of their logo in monogram form. This logo was developed by drawing together the letters S, F, and M to create an elegant logotype to represent the premium financial management company.
